In this article, understand that we will focus on the ounce as a unit of measure for the volume of a liquid, now I am referring to fluid ounces. Before moving on to the conversion, let’s understand what ounces and liters are.

A liter is a unit of volume adopted for use in the International System of Measurement (SI unit). It is a metric unit of volume and is equal to 1 cubic decimeter, 1000 cubic centimeters, or 0.001 cubic meter. A cubic decimeter occupies a volume of 10 cm × 10 cm × 10 cm and is thus equal to one thousandth of a cubic meter.

Most countries in the world use the liter as a unit to measure the volume of liquid, as well as to label the containers that contain that liquid. It also finds use in measuring certain non-liquid volumes, for example, the size of car trunks, computer cases, microwave ovens, refrigerators, and recycling bins, and to express fuel quantities and prices.

An ounce with the symbol “OZ” is a non-metric unit of volume or mass used in various systems and has many different definitions. There are two main types of fluid ounces; Imperial ounces and US regular ounces. An imperial fluid ounce is 1/20 of an imperial pint, 1/160 of an imperial gallon, or 28.4 milliliters, while a US fluid ounce or US regular ounce is 1/16 of a pint US, 1/128 of a US ounce. gallon, which is about 29.6 milliliters.
