Mile To Kmh

Mile To Kmh – As far as I know you can’t. This is a semi-digital (for lack of better words) dash like the US has. The Canadian cars that were introduced had a full digital speedometer that could change from mph to kmh. I believe the US got the upgraded 2019 digital version as standard. I’m sure someone will talk about it. FWIW, my Canadian import 2018 has a full digital dash and switches seamlessly between mph and kmh.

I also have a 2018 Canadian market M550i with a full digital dash and easy conversion from km/h to mph in Idrive when I imported it to the US last October.

Pkugaraj said: Thanks for the reply. Where did you change the cluster and how much did it cost Click to expand… I didn’t, I just told you what to do. The cluster must be replaced with an empty one (deleted if used) and then installed in the car.

Since you are planning to replace the cluster, I would suggest looking for a full digital cluster (no plastic rings). Search for “6WB retrofit” and you should find several G30 threads.

Pkugaraj said: Last question (hopefully) …Have you managed to get certified in Canada and get a license plate? Click to expand… Google search is the way to do it. This is how I learned how to import two BMWs from Canada to the US.

Canada Customs should have the requested information available on its website. Do your research and you can also call your local BMW about changing the clusters. They may also have experience with broadcast regulations, and some have tried before you. We use cookies for efficiency. By using our website, you agree to our cookie policy.Cookie settings
