Polyethylene terephthalate (PET or PETE) is a transparent material with good impact resistance, chemical resistance, and a high degree of resistance. PET is known for its strength and flexibility. Our sealed bottles can withstand high impact for a short period of time and are widely available in the pharmaceutical industry. Polyethylene terephthalate is also used in food and beverage bottles. PET can withstand temperatures as low as -40°F and is not suitable for heating. Fill temperature should not exceed 120°F.
