I’m no expert at converting metric to imperial measurements, and when I googled and googled “8 ounces to a liter” the conversion results just didn’t make sense!

Problems arise when you realize that ounces are measured in weight or fluid ounces. When it comes to Cool Whip, ounces are measured by weight. However, liters are a measure of liquid, which makes Cool Whip sizes extra difficult to convert.

I ended up realizing that the best way to convert Cool Whip container sizes is to convert them to cups!

After much searching, I found that the most accurate way to convert ounces to liters for Cool Whip is to convert to cups.

To easily and accurately measure the Cool Whip per cup, I let it thaw to room temperature first and used a silicone spatula to press it into the measuring cup.

There are 16 cups in a gallon. If you measure how many cups are in a gallon of water, add 16 cups per gallon.

There are 3 teaspoons in 1 tablespoon. A teaspoon is 5 ml. and 1 tablespoon is 15 ml.

A liter to a quart is equal, because a liter is 1 liter or a liter is equal to 1 liter.
