# 300m In Miles

300m In Miles – @ ~ 69 thousand mi. he pushed himself weakly. A little research to locate the solenoid valve in the trans-pan.

He found the part, ordered it and had it in a day from the car lot. always a good DYI machine but it went into this transmission/transaxle (or whatever). A couple of youtube videos are below. It’s really not that hard.

There is a connector on the body of the trans with a red “keeper” that slides open. He immediately lost sight of the red target. Bringing that link right back and putting everything in but not the “guardian”. Produce?

## Solved: I Need Help On My Math. A2 + T6z + C2 = 72 + 52 = 124 + 25 = 149. 0.6 + Az + 6% = C2 + 272 +

I put everything together that seemed to work very well. It jumps a little to the level of one’s pride

Test #1… took a 20 mile test off the hwy and through several towns, up and down some hilly terrain. there is nothing

. Next trip to hosp. about 20 miles away. At about the 1/2 mile mark, i dropped from 60mph to 40 mph and….clunk. way to be disabled. Sometimes I can just turn off the car, wait 10 seconds. and it starts again perfectly. but, yes, it is 2x in the forward direction.

Technology. ask if you are a “quick learner”? Ummm…No! I feel discouraged now as I join to complete the course. 3 days later he called and everything was done and good to go. invoice read: relearn trans w/2 good road test. Driving is easy now. CVI is higher than normal type. It is not defined.

This trans must be studied as well. Will the rest of the problem know their way out of the mess? It’s easy, I know. What’s going on guys?

Also, it looks like there is a missing part outside the case, see the blue arrow. Any Idea which port it is? no cables, pigtails or plugs of any kind are loose, loose or cut. Scratching my head for one

The transmission will not learn how to exit limp mode. You need to find out what is causing the limp mode. The code in the title is not a special transmission except for p1776. But they all have something to do with electricity.

Maybe it’s time to see what code is left. And you may need to buy a transmission scanner. Looks like a store called CVI has it. A high CVI is not a good sign.

Are there any other diagnostic codes besides P1776, P0641, P0647. . . with this car? If YES, state all test codes.

There is a TSB, certain build codes on the Original SOL will tell you to replace the SOL or Valvebody.

The tranny will learn by itself well, it certainly doesn’t go into a weak mode if you don’t, the learning process is also protected by the service department since you drive and feel the hard changes while learning and immediately put them back.

You mentioned the battery, Check all the ground wires make sure all the connections are good, replace the battery if you can, the electrical system needs clean clean energy.

Welcome to. There is no single package. No Quicklearn. Self-learning is self-learning and takes time. It doesn’t matter either.

P1776 may be on the cap body, not just the pack. Check the Julian Date code (from TSB # 21-008-04A).

The hole in the block is apparently for the mopar block heater. There is something similar available for 2.7 liters. Think of it as a block of aluminum. P1776 in my experience, I would replace the entire valve block but if the CVI number is really high, it could be a broken clutch or internal seal. Sometimes when you accelerate it will “learn” one value of the CVI number but when you drive the number will change enough to cause errors.

\$275 to pull the fuse, road test for 2 days and replace it. It’s a quick re-learn including hooking up the scan tool, moving the car 6 feet and the buttons but WOW (End Rant)

“Red Tab Issue”: The red tab is the second additional way to install the key. Don’t worry as long as the latch is working properly to maintain the connection.

The most common “Limp Mode” for 02-04 vehicles is the Solenoid Pack along with the Valve Body and Solenoid Pack Combo. If you don’t replace the Solenoid Pack, chances are that will fix your problem. Over the years, we have learned that diaphragm switches and solder connections in solenoid packages cause problems. Make sure you ONLY use ATF +4 (even Walmart Brand is fine)

P0641 is a “Generic” code for the 5volt vref Sensor that will generate other codes if there is a real problem.

“High Clutch Volume Index” This is the level of clutch addition to the trans and CAN be used depending on the wear pattern. Accuracy is questionable when there are electrical, solenoid & valve body problems.

Ay under 70k unless you drive it like you stole it, I doubt there is a clutch in your trans. (I have 240k and still good)

### Solved = 1. The Acceleration Due To Gravity At Sea Level Is

Remove the solenoid package and do a “poor man’s re-learn” by cutting power to the PCM for a few minutes and then “hot” driving the combination of local and highway.
