200 Mph Km – When I look at 2020 and 2021, I noticed that some Sierras are 140, others are 200. Both have MPH on the dash. Not the 200 kilometers. Why are there two options? Is the 200 MPH body a performance package?
I can’t answer the OP’s question, but I’m glad he supported his question with pictures. My question is why would anyone want to drive a truck 200 miles an hour?

I would like to say that the 200 mile truck is probably a Canadian truck. You can change the display from metric to US in the settings.

MPH and KMH are backlight only. As you switch between the two units, the letters on the opposite side will light up. Take a picture of it with the trucks and you will see that it is an electronic tag. That’s why you see it in two different places, because the 200 is probably Canadian. 140 km/h is only 85 miles per hour, the Camaros and Corvettes also have 200 groups because they are variable.

Click to enlarge… No. An MPH is an MPH whether you take the picture or find the vehicle in America or Canada. If it is only backlit then 1. Why is only MPH lit? & 2. Why are they in different places?
If someone really doesn’t know, it’s not like collecting digital guesses. That center appears to be a third of the screen, the rest (where the tach and speedometer are located) is not. Those numbers and lines on the gauges look unique.
This thread does not confirm this either. There are no pictures and the OP doesn’t say if it reads as MPH or if it reads MPH. To fix the problem it says you need to switch browsers (on the previous model), but that would mean you can’t just switch. So you two who are trying to convince us that this is true are contradicting each other.
I still think the MPH/KPH on the pictures have been photoshopped. It makes a lot more sense that GMC didn’t figure out how to calculate KPH on the speedometer but changed the numbers for it and figured that simply putting MPH somewhere else would solve the problem.

If you change the reading from KPH to MPH, doesn’t the reading also change from MPH to KMH?
You’re right. The numbers stay the same, but the MPH/KPH values change, and of course the needle now references KPH vs. MPH when moving. The distances are obviously the same, just a different reading.
I’ve seen a few of the 200 mile clusters in the area. The owner of one of the company trucks we work on has a 2021 GMC and is in the 200 mile rally. It’s a 6.2 10 speed.
