155mph To Kph – Renault Clio RS Trophy at 155 mph on the highway This is a modified example with over 260 horsepower.
The fourth generation Renault Clio was sold in the European market until the first months of 2019, when it was replaced by the new fifth generation model. With no performance version in the range, today’s hatchback successor has effectively killed off the Clio RS. Given how difficult and expensive it’s becoming for automakers to produce new superminis due to stricter emissions standards, we doubt we’ll see a new RS-badged Clio again. And there are valid reasons for our homesickness.
155mph To Kph
Launched at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, the latest Clio RS was the first Clio RS to be offered only with a dual-clutch automatic and was sold exclusively as a five-door hatchback. Under the hood was a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine good for 200 horsepower (147 kW) and 177 lb-ft (240 Nm) of torque. However, it was not the most powerful and performance-oriented Clio model to roll out of the factory.

A few years later, when Renault launched the facelifted Clio with new LED light towers, the Trofeo update was also launched for the Clio RS. It came with a more powerful turbo engine with 220 hp. (162 kW) and 207 lb-ft (280 Nm) of torque, and other minor upgrades. On paper, the hot hatch can hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in about 6.6 seconds. Maximum speed is 145 mph (234 km/h).
Those numbers aren’t particularly impressive in the performance department, but if you’re looking at the entry level, even six or seven years after the model’s launch, they’re still pretty decent. And with a few hardware and software upgrades, Nissan’s inline-four can easily be tweaked to produce around 260 hp. (191 kW).
Such is the case with the white hot hatch from the video attached at the top of this page, which is a later model Trophy and performance upgrade from Dekker Motorsport. It feels fast enough for what it really is, and even reaches 155 mph (250 km/h) at the end of the clip. And that angry exhaust note when changing gears, kind of reminds us of a rally car. Too bad Renault no longer sells the Clio RS. The 400 d is the fastest and most powerful diesel CLS model. In fact, it’s also probably Mercedes’ fastest oil-burner.
In the recent past, that meant nothing because Daimler wasn’t a big player when it came to diesel engines. It really only had a good V6 that was adapted to everything from taxis to the G-Class. But thanks to the recently revived inline architecture, there are a variety of 3.0-liter units that match or sometimes surpass their BMW and Audi counterparts.
Porsche 924 Carrera Gts Club Sport (chassis № 710 044)
Maybe we should call it a 2.9-liter because that’s how you have to make a full 2,925cc. In any case, the most powerful version is found in the CLS 400 d, producing 340 hp plus 700 Nm of torque. Currently, the S 400 d is only available in one model, although others will be available soon.
With a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) time of 5.0 seconds (officially claimed), the 400 d configuration is set to be 0.2 seconds slower than the 367 hp. CLS 450. The two models are the same and the fuel consumption strongly favors the diesel model. Its average volume is 5.7 liters per 100 km, which is almost the same as the MINI Cooper S.
The acceleration video below was taken by AutoTop on what we assume is the Freeway. While the 0-100 km/h sprint was actually 5.6 seconds, the car’s performance after that is what impresses. There’s a steady wave of pulling power that takes it to 250 km/h (155 mph) and a bit higher.
The sound inside the car is noticeably better than the sound from outside shown at the beginning of the video, which tells you it’s fake. However, the CLS isn’t a sports car, it’s a 4-door German V8 wagon. It’s all about looking good in an expensive Mercedes-Benz. And now you can also combine performance and fuel economy into that package.

Tesla no longer publishes horsepower and torque figures for its models. The video states that the Y Performance model has 462 horsepower (345 kW) and 471 lb-ft (639 Nm). However, a 2020 dyno video shows an example making 502 hp. (374 kW) at the wheels.
Tesla reports that the Model Y Performance will hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.5 seconds. This takes 4.12 seconds to reach 62 mph (100 km/h). This crossover runs the quarter mile in 12.22 seconds. It reaches 124 mph (200 km/h) in 16.34 seconds.
Official specifications say that the Y Performance model has a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). The car in this video accelerates for a few seconds before the driver begins to slow down. The driver needs 42.77 seconds to reach this speed from a standing start.
The silence inside the cabin is particularly impressive in this video. The most noticeable sound is the rush of air on the body. Even the tire noise doesn’t seem very loud.

The Y Performance model costs $69,190 after a $1,200 destination tax. As with other Tesla models, there is currently a slight delay in delivery. If you order one today, the company estimates it will ship to the buyer between June and August 2022.
Long waits and high demand caused a sharp increase in the price of Tesla cars. In some cases, sellers ask for even more than the cost of a new sample.
The Model Y is the first product to be produced from Tesla’s new factory in Austin, Texas. The company’s CEO, Elon Musk, believes the site can build around 500,000 examples of the electric crossover every year.
Model Y vehicles from Texas use Tesla’s new in-house 4680 battery cells and feature structured batteries. They also use the automaker’s one-piece front body castings. Officially, the current generation Toyota Supra tops out at 155 mph. Like many German-engineered cars, it’s locked in electronically long before it reaches its mechanical limit. But according to a new video from

In the video, an A90 Supra is said to reach 263 km/h according to its internal speedometer. The external GPS speedometer says the car’s top speed is 262 km/h, but both numbers come in around 163 mph. As Motor1 points out, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen such a number. A video released last year also showed a Supra hitting a Vmax of 163 mph, 8 mph over its official top speed.
It’s also worth noting that the 163 doesn’t seem to be the Supra’s mechanical limit, but rather where the electronic governor comes into play. As you can see in the video, the car is still accelerating, reaching a speed of 263 km/h, and then the speedometer stops. There, it refuses to accelerate, not at maximum revolutions. It could be a coincidence, but the Germans are known for underestimating their performance cars.
