When I teach food classes in a high school, these measurements always seem to be a challenge too! The US measurement system can be a little confusing, but I have a fun and easy way to help teach these measurements.

So I decided to make a picture for my son so he can better understand the idea. An easy way to do this is with Gallon Man. Seeing it like this really helps children (and adults who can never remember) remember the values of each.
